1. An electrophotographic photosensitive member comprising:
a support; an undercoat layer on the support; and a photosensitive layer on the undercoat layer, wherein the undercoat layer comprises following (i) or (ii), (i) a polymerized product of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a compound represented by the following formula (1) and a compound represented by the following formula (2), (ii) a polymerized product of a composition comprising at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a compound represented by the following formula (1) and a compound represented by the following formula (2),wherein, in the formulae (1) and (2),
R1 to R3 and R8 to R11 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an unsubstituted or substituted arylene group, an unsubstituted or substituted hetero ring, an unsubstituted or substituted alkylene group having 1 to 6 main-chain atoms, a divalent group having 1 to 6 main-chain atoms and derived from one of CH2 in the main chain of an unsubstituted or substituted alkylene group substituted for an oxygen atom, or a divalent group having 1 to 6 main-chain atoms and derived from one of CH2 in the main chain of an unsubstituted or substituted alkylene group substituted for a sulfur atom, a substituent of the substituted alkylene group is an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, a benzyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, or a phenyl group, R1 may combine with R2 to form an unsubstituted or substituted hetero ring, P2 is absent when R1 combines with R2 to form the hetero ring, R8 may combine with R9 to form an unsubstituted or substituted hetero ring, P15 is absent when R8 combines with R9 to form the hetero ring, R10 may combine with R11 to form an unsubstituted or substituted hetero ring, P12 is absent when R10 combines with R11 to form the hetero ring, R4 to R7 and R12 to R15 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a cyano group, a nitro group, a halogen atom, an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group, or an unsubstituted or substituted aryl group, P1 is absent when R1 is a hydrogen atom, P2 is absent when R2 is a hydrogen atom, P3 is absent when R3 is a hydrogen atom, P14 is absent when R8 is a hydrogen atom, P15 is absent when R9 is a hydrogen atom, P11 is absent when R10 is a hydrogen atom, P12 is absent when R11 is a hydrogen atom, P1 to P3 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or a polymerizable functional group, at least one of P1 to P3 is a polymerizable functional group,
P11, P12, P14 and P15 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a polymerizable functional group, and at least one of P11, P12, P14 and P15 is a polymerizable functional group. |
