The process for dry fractionation of lignocellulosic biomass comprising at least 50%, by weight, of lignins, cellulose and hemicelluloses, comprises: - a step (22) of fragmentation of the biomass so as to obtain an ultrafine powder and - at least one step (24) of separation of a fraction enriched with cellulose and of a fraction enriched with lignin, with hemicelluloses and with minerals, by electrostatic sorting of the ultrafine particles. In embodiments, the fraction separation step comprises: - a step (26) of triboelectrostatic charging of ultrafine particles and - at least one step (28) of deviation of the path in the electric field of the charged particles so as to sort the particles.
