<p>An objective of the present invention is to provide a sales promotion system whereby information about a functional product is communicated to a specified plurality of customers concisely, in a short time, and accurately, and it is possible to ascertain the specified customers' desires in a timely manner. The present invention provides a sales promotion system wherein a host computer (HC) of a supplier which sells a functional product, terminals of a specified plurality of customers (TC), and supplier terminals (TS) are connected via the Internet, etc. The HC comprises: a transceiver unit which is capable of transmitting to and receiving from the TCs; a transceiver unit which is capable of transmitting to and receiving from the TSs; and a data storage unit which is capable of storing information data relating to the specified plurality of customers, etc. The sales promotion system further comprises: a means (a) for transmitting information about the functional product to the TCs; a means (b) for receiving from the TCs; a means (c) for transmitting to the TCs supplemental information relating to the functional product; a means (d) for receiving from the TCs request information which requests either the supplemental information relating to the functional product, a sample product, or a response to a question; a means (e) for transmitting to the TSs the request information, etc., which is received from the receiving means (d); and a storage means for storing in a data storage unit the information transmitted and received by the means (a-e), etc.</p> |
