The present invention relates to an energy management system for an optimal ship construction environment and a method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the energy management system for an optimal ship construction environment includes: a user terminal device which provides block information where painting work will be performed under the control of a worker and block specification information classified by block shapes having different energy usage patterns; a production environment management device which detects a current state within production process, matches the same with detected current factory environment state information, and displays corresponding reference information; and an energy management device which controls operating states of energy facilities based on the inputted block information and production process information.
