OPTICAL DETECTION APPARATUS AND METHOD OF COMPENSATING DETECTION ERROR

An optical detection device and a method for compensating for a measurement error margin are disclosed. The disclosed optical detection device is a device for scanning and measuring the detection chambers of a sample cartridge which includes: a light source part including light sources for irradiating the detection chambers with light; and a light detector for detecting the light irradiated to the detection chambers. The light sources include dominant-wavelength light sources used in measuring the specimens of the detection chambers, and sub-wavelength light sources used in compensating for a measurement error, and the dominant-wavelength light sources and the sub-wavelength light sources are arranged along a line parallel to a scan line for scanning the detection chambers.
