<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel as a different diameter PCD type bearing device, capable of improving static rated load at a vehicle outer side and reducing humming sound by indentation.SOLUTION: A bearing device of a wheel includes an inner ring 4 having an inner shaft 3 having a first inner ring raceway surface 3a, and a second inner ring raceway surface 4a, an outer ring having first and second outer ring raceway surfaces 2b, 2a, and first and second rolling element groups 61, 51 disposed between the first and second outer ring raceway surfaces 2b, 2a and the first and second inner ring raceway surfaces 3a, 4a. The first rolling element group 61 is disposed at a vehicle outer side, the second rolling element group 51 is disposed at a vehicle inner side, contact anglesα1,α2 and the number of balls of the first and second rolling element groups 61, 51 are determined to be same as each other, a relationship of a ball diameter D1 of the first rolling element group 61 and a ball diameter D2 of the second rolling element group 51 is determined to be D1>D2, and a relationship of a pitch circle diameter PCD1 of the first rolling element group 61 and a pitch circle diameter PCD2 of the second rolling element group 51 is determined to be PCD1=D1/D2×PCD2.</p> |
