CONDUCTIVE PARTICLE AND CONDUCTIVE MATERIAL CONTAINING CONDUCTIVE PARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive particle with a projection and an anisotropic conductive material having low connection resistance, little variation of conductive performance of the particle and excellent in electrical conduction reliability.SOLUTION: There is provided a conductive particle containing a resin fine particle, and a coating layer which is arranged on an external surface of the resin fine particle and has a projection on its surface. The projection has a height of 100-300 nm. The coating layer contains nickel and phosphorus. The conductive particle is manufactured according to a deformation volume (μm) when such force (F2 and mN) that destruction of the conductive particle is started has been added and a deformation volume (μm) when force (F1 and mN) which is the same numeric value as a diameter of the conductive particle has been added. There is also provided an anisotropic conductive material containing such conductive particle.
