PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment system which prevents raw water from flowing back to a circulation-water drawing pipe to enhance adaptability to abrupt increase in the quantity of raw water flow, in spite of being set to a place where infrastructure is not fitted.SOLUTION: The water treatment system includes: a reactor which subjects treatment-target water to anaerobic treatment by an anaerobic microbial group; a separator separating the treatment water obtained by the reactor from biogas. An adjustment tank mixes raw water with circulation water as part of the treatment water treated by the reactor and separated by the separator, and supplies the mixture to the reactor as adjusted water. The adjustment tank includes a raw water retention part retaining raw water and a circulation water retention part retaining circulation water, which are separated from each other via a partition wall. The circulation water flows over the partition wall to unilaterally flow into a side of the raw water retention part. |
