PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device capable of distinguishing character information from a gesture operation even when performing editing work such as deletion of the character information while entering the character information in a character input area.SOLUTION: Character information input means 101 sequentially transmits input character information to gesture detecting means 103. The gesture detecting means 103 detects gesture on the basis of the character information received from the character information input means 101. The gesture detecting means 103 detects whether the character information is the gesture or normal character input from a vector direction of first coordinates and second coordinates of respective strokes of the input information. |
