<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging and discharging system for an electric vehicle capable of improving efficiency of a DC/AC inverter when using a battery for driving as a power source for home.SOLUTION: A charging and discharging system for an electric vehicle includes: a serial/parallel switching unit 23 for switching the connection state of a first battery and a second battery to a serial connection or a parallel connection; an ECU4 for switching and controlling the serial/parallel switching unit; a quick charge connector 26 provided on the electric vehicle and being capable of supplying power from a battery for driving to the outside; a power converter composed to be capable of connecting to the quick charge connector 26 as well as being capable of having an electric appliance for home connect and converting power supplied from the battery for driving through the quick charge connector 26 into power supplying to the electric appliance for home. ECU4 has the serial/parallel switching unit 23 connected in parallel when the power converter is connected to the quick charge connector 26.</p> |
