<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical cable that enables temperature distribution of a high-temperature object to be measured in a lengthwise direction of the optical cable with satisfactory responsiveness, and also strain distribution in a case of the solid object to be simultaneously measured in the lengthwise direction of the optical cable.SOLUTION: An optical cable for high-temperature environment comprises: an optical fiber 11 provided with a covering 12 or provided without the covering on an outer peripheral surface; a protection tube 13, formed of a heat resistance material, into which the optical fiber 11 is inserted; and a filler layer 14, formed of a heat resistance material, which is filled in an air gap between an inner peripheral surface of the protection tube 13 and the outer peripheral surface of the optical fiber 11.</p> |
