PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a molding material capable of forming a molding only using a paper making sludge incinerated ash; a method for producing the molding material; a molding using a paper making sludge incinerated ash, excellent in a moldability and high in strength; and a method for manufacturing the molding.SOLUTION: A molding material consists of a paper making sludge incinerated ash obtained by incinerating the residue in a paper pulp producing process. The paper making sludge incinerated ash is controlled so that fine particles having a particle size of 20μm or less is included at a proportion of 15 volume% or more. Since the fine particles having a suitable size is controlled so as to have a suitable percentage content, the fine particles are solidified only by adding water. Therefore, the molding can be formed when the fine particles are used instead of binders, such as cement and gypsum.
