PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide type fuel battery which prevents an air electrode form being destroyed internally by internally destroying a junction when a rapid temperature change or a pressure change of oxidant gas is generated in a normal operational status, and which prolongs the lifetime by recoupling a portion where the junction is destroyed internally.SOLUTION: The solid oxide type fuel battery includes a solid electrolyte fuel battery cell 1 including a solid electrolyte layer 2, a fuel electrode 3 formed on one face of the solid electrolyte layer, and an air electrode 4 formed on another face of the solid electrolyte layer. The air electrode 4 and a collector part 6 are bonded via a junction 7. A destruction strength of the junction is made lower than a destruction strength of the air electrode and made lower than an exfoliation strength of a junction interface between the junction and the air electrode and a junction interface between the junction and the collector. The junction 7 is a conductive spinel type oxide and contains a plurality of kinds of metal oxides that can be changed to the conductive spinel oxide by normally operating the fuel battery cell. |
