METHOD FOR RECOGNIZING AND LOCATING BUILDING USING CONSTRAINT OF MOUNTAIN CONTOUR REGION

Disclosed is a method for recognizing and locating a building using the constraint of a mountain contour region. The method comprises the steps of: (1) acquiring a real-time image, conducting mountain contour detection on the real-time image, and expanding a detected mountain contour line, so as to obtain a mountain contour constraint region; (2) conducting morphological enhancement and background suppression processing on an input image in the mountain contour constraint region; (3) conducting recursive segmentation in the mountain contour constraint region, and converting an image obtained in step (2) into a binary image; (4) according to a result in step (3), extracting a local region of interest where a target building is located in the mountain contour constraint region; and (5) directly recognizing and locating the target building in the local region of interest. The method has rapid locating, a low false alarm rate and high reliability, and provides a key technology for a forward-looking navigator of an aircraft to capture and locate a building near a mountain contour.
