The inductance at high frequency of a piece of electrical equipment such as a motor is obtained rapidly and with high precision using magnetic field analysis. First a two-dimensional magnetic field analysis, in which turns are energized one at a time, is carried out, and then a three-dimensional magnetic field analysis, in which all the turns are energized collectively, is carried out. The inductance of each turn, obtained by the two-dimensional magnetic field analysis, is corrected by multiplying said inductance by a correction factor obtained by comparing the results of the two analyses relating to the entire coil.
|
