<p>Provided are: a wheelchair with which a user can easily sit on a seat of a western-style toilet and on which the user can easily pull up and down his or her trousers or underwear while remaining seated on the wheelchair; and a method of use thereof. A wheelchair, etc. with which a user can use a western-style toilet while remaining seated thereon, comprises: a space capable of accommodating a western-style toilet below a seat; armpit clamps, a seat back, and knee back clamps which move up and down in conjunction in order to move the user upward and downward while he or she remains seated on the wheelchair; and an openable seat which is capable of forming an opening for allowing the user to sit on a seat of the western-style toilet accommodated below the seat of the wheelchair.</p> |
