The invention relates to the field of storing and viewing information, and specifically to image-viewing devices and methods containing a server which includes a database of images having a set of various parameters, said database having sections in which a plurality of images having identical parameters are stored, the server being adapted for communicating, by means of a unified network, with user client devices having a means for viewing and browsing images, and being able to be used by users of client devices which have access to the Internet. According to the invention, the server additionally contains a database of distinguishing content. The server additionally contains a module for controlling the introduction of distinguishing content, which module is connected to the database of images and to the database of distinguishing content. The achieved technical result consists in broadening the functional capabilities of a device by means of the ability to view and/or listen to distinguishing content which is not connected to the contents of a section being viewed, while simultaneously improving the structure of the database of images by means of increasing the transition time from one section of the database of images to another. |
