SERVER, TERMINAL, METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM FOR IPV6-BASED COMMUNICATION IN ALL-IP ENVIRONMENT

The present invention relates to a technique to perform inter-terminal direct communication by registering and inquiring an IPv6 address to a user identifier through a user datagram protocol (UDP), a transmission control protocol (TCP), or an expanded domain name system (DNS) protocol in an All-IP environment. A method for communication based on IPv6 in an All-IP environment according to an aspect of the present invention is a method performed in a user identification server. The method comprises the steps of: (a) receiving renewing request information including at least a user identifier and a current IPv6 address from a first terminal through a renewing request message; (b) connecting and renewing each of corresponding renewing request information received from step (a); (c) receiving IP address request information including at least an opponent identifier from a second terminal through an IP address request message; and (d) providing an IPv6 address corresponding to the opponent identifier received from step (c) to the second terminal through an IP address response message. Step (b) may further comprise a step of transmitting a renewing response message including whether renewing is successful to the first terminal after corresponding information is renewed.
