<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress or prevent a problem that an ignition timing is inadvisably delayed because of that vibration of an auxiliary machine associated with an internal combustion engine is erroneously recognized as vibration caused by knocking.SOLUTION: In a time period not corresponding to a first half period of an expansion stroke of any of cylinders, an ignition timing is not delayed and/or a learning value of the ignition timing is not updated, in a case when a time period when an output signal of a knock sensor is over a knock determination value, and an auxiliary machine associated with an internal combustion engine is operated, and a time period when the output signal of the knock sensor is over the knock determination value are approximately synchronized with each other.</p> |
