METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETECTING OPENING/CLOSING OF PILOT TYPE SOLENOID VALVE FOR HYDROGEN TANK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for detecting opening/closing of a pilot type solenoid valve for a hydrogen tank, which can detect immediately an opening/closing state of the valve.SOLUTION: The device for detecting opening/closing of a pilot type solenoid valve for a hydrogen tank includes: a pilot type solenoid valve to be installed in an outlet of a hydrogen tank; high-pressure hydrogen piping; a pressure sensor that is installed in the high-pressure hydrogen piping and measures pressure in the piping; and a controller that determines whether the pilot type solenoid valve is opened or closed. The controller, when a pressure variation in the piping satisfies a predetermined valve-opening condition subject to input of pressure in the piping from the pressure sensor, determines that the valve is opened and outputs a valve-opening signal. The method for detecting opening/closing of a pilot type solenoid valve for a hydrogen tank performs: a step of inputting valve-opening command; a step of determining the presence/absence of abnormality from a valve drive input/output signal to the valve-opening command; a step of confirming pressure in the high-pressure hydrogen piping when determining that the valve drive input/output signal is normal; and a step of outputting a valve-opening signal when the confirmed pressure satisfies the valve opening condition.
