An embodiment of the present invention relates to a pressure peak reduction valve for an excavator. The pressure peak reduction valve for an excavator comprises: a poppet sheet having an inlet into which working fluid discharged from a hydraulic pump is introduced and which is formed on one end thereof and having one or more communication holes which communicate with a hydraulic tank and are formed on the outer peripheral surface thereof; a main poppet which slides inside the poppet sheet; a poppet spring which is provided inside the main poppet; a valve sheet, one end of which is inserted into the main poppet to be in contact with one end of the poppet spring; a cone provided to be inserted into an opening hole formed on an end of the valve sheet; an adjustment screw provided inside the valve sheet; and a piston which slides inside the adjustment screw.
