A powder magnetic core (1) comprising: a magnetic core body (2) formed by compression-molding a raw material powder having, as the main component, a soft magnetic metal powder (3) in which the surface is covered by an insulating coating (4) having a decomposition temperature of 600°C or above; and a pore-sealing part (6) for sealing the internal pores in the magnetic core body (2), wherein the magnetic core body (2) has a relative density of 94.5-97% and a porosity of 2.0% or less.
