The problem of the present invention is to provide acrylic-urethane composite resin particles having exceptional dispersiveness, storage stability, and compatibility and a high degree of freedom in setting the composition, molecular weight, and other attributes of both the acrylic resin part and the urethane resin part. The following acrylic-urethane composite resin particles are provided as a means for overcoming this problem: acrylic-urethane composite resin particles containing an acrylic-urethane graft resin (I) and a graft acrylic resin (II), wherein the acrylic-urethane graft resin (I) is synthesized in the presence of the graft acrylic resin (II) having a weight-average molecular weight of 5000 or higher and having a hydrophobic chain and a hydrophilic chain, the acrylic-urethane-graft resin (I) contains an acrylic resin component and a urethane resin component, and the acrylic resin portion of the acrylic-urethane graft resin (I) is synthesized using 0.1-30 mass% of a polymerizable unsaturated monomer (1) containing an isocyanate group and a group having a reactive active hydrogen atom, and 70-99.9 mass% of another polymerizable unsaturated monomer (2), as structural monomer components. |
