Pumping and metering high viscous ingredients is disclosed. Initially, a valving element may be biased to a first end of a travel range by a return spring and a de- energized magnetic coil, enabling the fluid volume to be received from a second side of the metering element via a second inlet port to the valving element from the metering element. The valving element may be biased to a second end of the travel range by energizing the magnetic coil to repel the magnetic core within the valving element, enabling the fluid volume to be received through the inlet port of the valving element from the pressurized source.
