PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing auxiliary tool and a washing method for cleanly washing the whole part of a kimono when washing the kimono by using a washing machine for household use.SOLUTION: A washing auxiliary tool 1 is used when a fabric is washed. The washing auxiliary tool 1 includes: close-contact prevention means preventing close contact between a first surface 41 and a second surface 42 of a fabric 4 overlapping each other when the fabric 4 is folded; and holding means 34 forming a space part between a third surface 43 and a fourth surface 44 of the fabric 4 facing each other when the fabric 4 is folded again, and holding a state in which the third surface 43 and the fourth surface 44 face each other. There is also provided a washing method using the same. |
