PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method to transplant an embolic coil in a blood vessel.SOLUTION: A coil 206 includes a holding element 232 that can detachably be held in a terminal end of an implant tool 214. The implant tool may include a full column that engages with a first filament. When the first filament is engaged, the coil is prevented from being released. Alternatively, energizing means 240 and an aperture 244 are disposed on a side wall of an implant, and the first filament together with the aperture and the side wall detachably holds the coil until the first filament is pulled out. The implant tool may include an alignment member 228 to align the first filament. |
