PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide techniques for providing a dial controller for enhancing a telephone voice call using a data connection into a calling device and/or a called device for both the calling device and the called device to access a content server.SOLUTION: A content server stores profiles of a calling user and/or a called user, subject to user-determined privacy settings. The profiles include multi-media information on the status, location, or preferences of the users. A dial controller delays establishment of a voice connection by pending user review and approval of the other user's profile. No modifications are required on the network side. |
