<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuse in which the breaking capacity is enhanced and current overload is prevented by suppressing electrical arc.SOLUTION: A fuse 100 includes a first end cap 130, a second end cap 140 and a fuse element 120, and the fuse element 120 is connected electrically with the end caps 130 and 140 by a solder fillet 155. The cavity 150 of the fuse body 110 is filled with a melamine coated steatite foam (MCSF) filler 160. The melamine coated steatite foam filler 160 contains steatite coated with a melamine compound (e.g., plastic melamine resin), and contains steatite of substantially 3 times of the melamine compound by weight.</p> |
