<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a light-emitting device, for achieving a thin light-emitting layer while obtaining such a structure that a liquid as a light-emitting material can be exchanged.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a light-emitting device is provided, in which the device is configured to include a first electrode and a second electrode layer disposed opposing to the first electrode and to apply a voltage between the first electrode and the second electrode layer via a liquid that is a light-emitting material. The method includes: an intermediate layer formation step of forming an intermediate layer on a surface of the first electrode, the surface to oppose to the second electrode layer, the intermediate layer which includes a spacer that maintains separated and electrically insulated state between the first electrode and the second electrode layer, and a sacrificial portion that can be removed by use of a remover; a second electrode layer formation step of forming the second electrode layer on a surface of the intermediate layer, the surface to oppose to the second electrode layer, the second electrode layer which includes an open hole for exposing a part of the sacrificial portion; and a sacrificial portion removal step of removing the sacrificial portion by applying a remover to the sacrificial portion through the open hole.</p> |
