<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pull tab-equipped optical transceiver giving no unnecessary stresses on optical cables even if the optical transceiver is B2B-mounted in a cage.SOLUTION: An optical transceiver 1 comprises a housing having at the tip of an optical cable 11, an optical receptacle 41 for fitting an accompanying optical connector 12; a slider 7 for releasing the casing and a cage from their mutual engagement and a pull tab 6 linked to the slider 7. The pull tab 6 has a pair of arms 61, which are connected to the slider 7 and extend with the optical receptacle 41 in-between, and handles 62 disposed at the tips of the pair of arms 61. The handles 62 have receiving parts 64 for receiving the optical cable 11 fitted to the optical receptacle 41, and a slope inclined relative to the optical axis of the optical receptacle 41 and having a radius of curvature not less than 30 mm.</p> |
