<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the power consumption needed for reception without continuing to receive unnecessary position information.SOLUTION: A GPS unit 16 receives position information from a GPS. A GSP control unit 57 controls the GPS unit 16 so that position information is received intermittently. Also, when entry is determined by a situation determination unit 52, the GPS control unit 57 controls the GPS unit 16 so as to receive the position information. An autonomous navigation position information acquisition unit 51 acquires position information by an autonomous navigation method. The situation determination unit 52 determines, when the position information is being acquired by the autonomous navigation position information acquisition unit 51, whether or not an area where GPS reception sensitivity is good has been entered into by the autonomous navigation method. A count setting unit 55 sets a timeout time differing between a process of intermittent reception of position information by the GPS control unit 57 and a process of receiving position information when entry is determined by the situation determination unit 52.</p> |
