<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow confirmation of a slanting rear ward field of view of a vehicle which is apt to be a dead angle by a simple operation, with no complicated operation, for significantly improved travel safety.SOLUTION: An adjustment switch 15 is fitted to a car body 2 through a fitting stay 11, to adjust, according to operation period, a position of a mirror body 10 containing a mirror for confirming rear ward and side field of view of a vehicle. In a case of one-touch operation with an operation period being less than a predetermined threshold value, a position of the mirror body 10 is adjusted to a travel position D or a retracting position P. In a case of long pressing operation, being a predetermined threshold value or longer, is adjusted to a dead angle confirmation position K which is positioned between the retracting position P and the travel position D which can be set arbitrarily according to its operation period. Thus, without complicating an operation for varying position of the mirror body 10, a slanting rearward field of view of a vehicle which is easy to be a dead angle can be confirmed with a simple operation.</p> |
