1. A method for treating a sexually dysfunctional male patient, comprising implanting an apparatus in a patient's body, the apparatus comprising at least one powered elongated corpus cavernosum prosthesis controllable from outside the patient's body, adapted to postoperatively be adjusted to temporarily achieve enlarged status of the penis to achieve erection, wherein the apparatus further comprises at least one implantable vibrator adapted to be provided within the at least one elongated corpus cavernosum prosthesis or separated therefrom, to be placed within the at least one corpus cavernosum, wherein said at least one vibrator is adapted to cause vibration in at least one of the corpus cavernosum for further stimulating the sexually responsive tissue of the penis during sexual intercourse, adapted to improve at least dysfunctional male ejaculation, when implanted, on patient command, the method comprising the steps of:
a) creating an opening in the skin or penile wall of the male patient, b) dissecting at least one area of the sexually responsive tissue, and c) placing the elongated prosthesis including the at least one vibrator, as integrated or separate units, within the at least one corpus cavernosum, allowing postoperatively to achieve erection and allowing to use the at least one vibrator to vibrate within said at least one corpus cavernosum prosthesis to stimulate said sexually responsive tissue, on patient command. |
