The present invention relates to a cartridge-type hollow fiber membrane module including a hollow fiber membrane unit module having free ends and a cartridge frame, and an immersible water treatment device including an aerator configured at the bottom portion of the hollow fiber membrane module and capable of intermittent and continuous aeration. A cartridge-type separation membrane module, which has free ends, is coupled to an air accumulating engine, uses a large air bubble generating aerator, and is capable of intermittent and continuous aeration, is not only capable of controlling aerating/non-aerating cycles by controlling the volume of an air chamber and the flow of introduced air, but can also enable continuous aeration when there are fluctuations in raw water loads and concentrations of solids in a membrane separation tank.
