<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding device for use with an imaging device.SOLUTION: A microscope slide carrier includes a carrier body, the carrier body having an upper surface perpendicular to a longitudinal axis and a central opening through the carrier body along the longitudinal axis; and a plurality of slide receptacles circumferentially spaced about the longitudinal axis in the upper surface, each slide receptacle including an outer profile extending partially through the carrier body and a support within the outer profile, the outer profile being configured to loosely receive a microscope slide, the support being configured to support the received microscope slide.</p> |
