<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of measuring an air flow in a sintering machine, by which large-scale preparation for measurement is dispensed with when measuring the flow rate of air sucked in a charge layer in the machine length direction and sintering operation can be performed efficiently.SOLUTION: Flow meters 20 are installed on the upper surface of a charge layer 9 on the outlet side of an ignition furnace 10 (see Figure 7(a)). A predetermined fuel gas supply device 16A, which the flow meters are approaching, shelters while being raised to a position not interfering with the flow meters (see Figure 7(a)). Subsequently, the flow meters 20 passing below the fuel gas supply device 16A measure a change in the machine length direction in the flow rate of air introduced in the charge layer (see Figure 7(b)). The fuel gas supply device 16A just after passage of the flow meters 20 is lowered to return to the home position (see Figure 7(c)).</p> |
