initiating, by a client device, a first game using a first game application on the client device; generating, by the client device, a fingerprint indicating user information accessible on the client device, the user information being associated with a user of the client device; determining, by the client device, that the first game application has not been accessed for a predetermined amount of time; in response to the determining, sending, by the client device, the fingerprint to a game server associated with the first game; and receiving, by the client device, a targeted advertisement associated with a second game of the game server, the targeted advertisement being based on the fingerprint. |
