摘要 <p>In a machine tool having a spindle, a draw bar penetrating the spindle, and a penetration passage formed inside the draw bar, a through spindle coolant and air supply device for a machine tool comprises: a rotating union having a fixed part and a rotation part and formed in one side of the spindle; an air valve unit for controlling air received from an air tank; a coolant valve unit for controlling air received from a coolant tank or a coolant collected in the rotating union; an air passage unit for connecting the rotating union and the air valve unit and the air valve unit and the air tank; and a coolant passage unit for connecting the rotating union and the coolant valve unit and the coolant valve unit and the coolant tank. The present invention can easily discharge chips occurring in a cutting process as the through spindle coolant and the through spindle air are selectively supplied in one rotating unit by controlling a gap between the fixed part and the rotation part of the rotating union using the air valve unit; can prevent the leakage of the coolant by collecting the coolant remained in the penetration passage of the draw bar; can obtain the convenience of a user and pleasant working environments; and can reduce the manufacturing and installation costs of the device by selectively supplying the coolant and the air only with the installation of one rotating union.</p>
