<p>The present invention relates to a method to assemble a cam yoke for a steering apparatus of a vehicle, and an apparatus therefor. More specifically, in the cam yoke of a rack bar support device used for a steering apparatus, the assembling method and the assembling apparatus testing whether or not clearance compensation operation of a front cam and a yoke plug is normally performed by an axial force which is an elastic rotation restoring force in respect to a torsion spring inside the cam yoke, and assembling the cam yoke. According to the present invention, a vertical transport device is installed in a rear portion around a work table, and a cam yoke gripping fastening device is installed in a front position of an upper portion of the vertical transport device, a rotating jig linked with a rotation control device of a lower portion installed in the upper portion of the work table, and an automatic gripping device installed in a position adjacent to the rotating jig.</p> |
