GRAIN-ORIENTED ELECTRICAL STEEL SHEET AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A method for manufacturing a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: providing a slab including 2.5 to 4.0 wt% of Si and the remainder consisting of Fe and other inevitably mixed impurities; manufacturing a hot-rolled sheet by hot-rolling the slab; manufacturing a cold-rolled sheet by cold-rolling the hot-rolled sheet; conducting primary recrystallizing annealing by conducting the decarburizing annealing and nitrification of the cold-rolled sheet; applying an annealing separator, which has MgO as a main component, as coating liquid to the annealed steel sheet and winding the same in the shape of a coil; and finally annealing the wound coil by charging the same into a box-shaped continuous annealing furnace, wherein the applied amount of the coating liquid applied to the outer winding part of the coil in the decarburizing annealing process is controlled to be greater than the applied amount of the coating liquid applied to the inner winding part of the coil.
