PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of displaying a certain image without hidden by another image and information display by switching the relationship of vertical positions when displaying the image and the information display in overlay according to the imaging state.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: first imaging means; second imaging means for imaging a different direction from the imaging direction by the first imaging means; and control means for controlling to display on display means a first live image imaged by the first imaging means, a second live image imaged by the second imaging means, and first information. The control means controls to display the second live image in an overlaid manner with the first live image, to switch to display the first information above or under the second live image according to the state of a predetermined function related to imaging.
