PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic reset type electronic device and an automatic reset method.SOLUTION: An electronic device 1 comprises a main circuit system 11 and an external circuit system 12. The main circuit system 11 transmits a start state signal and a power supply state signal. The external circuit system 12 causes the start state signal and the power supply state signal to be received, thereby switching conduction/cut-off states of a switch 12 for supplying power to the main circuit system 11. When start abnormality occurs in the electronic device 1, the electronic device 1 is automatically reset by automatically performing power cut-off/re-energization. |
