<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing spherical inorganic particles characterized by obtaining spherical particles.SOLUTION: A method of producing spherical inorganic particles comprises emulsifying an alkali silicate aqueous liquid in a halogenated olefin represented by the general formula CHFCl(where k=3 or 4; p is an integer equal to or less than 2; n=1 or 2; and (p+m+n)=2k) in the presence of a surfactant to form a W/O type emulsion, and then gelatinizing droplets of the alkali silicate aqueous liquid in the W/O type emulsion to form spherical silica.</p> |
