<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress shock in returning from fuel cut and to improve exhaust gas performance.SOLUTION: A control device 1 of an engine 10 includes a cylinder injection valve 11 for directly injecting a fuel into a cylinder 12, and a catalyst 33 disposed in an exhaust passage 31 and purifying components in an exhaust gas. The control device 1 includes: fuel cut control means 2 for blocking fuel supply from the cylinder injection valve 11 when prescribed fuel cut conditions are established, and restarting the fuel supply when prescribed return conditions are established; and injection control means 3 for controlling a fuel injection amount and an injection timing from the cylinder injection valve 11. The injection control means 3 controls the fuel injection amount so that a combustion air-fuel ratio as a ratio of the fuel injection amount and an intake amount contributing to combustion torque becomes lean in comparison with a theoretical air-fuel ratio, and executes a first control to additionally inject the fuel in an expansion stroke or an exhaust stroke.</p> |
