<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of being unable to inform a proper replacement time of a nonconsumable electrode, in a welding robot for carrying out TIG welding for starting a lift by contacting the nonconsumable electrode with a base material by a plurality of contact methods.SOLUTION: A welding electrode management device 2 comprises: a contact determination part 21 for determining whether or not contact is performed by any contact method when starting the lift; a contact frequency renewal part 22 for renewing a contact frequency corresponding to the contact method according to its determination result; a threshold value storage part 24 for storing a threshold value; a replacement determination part 25 for determining that the nonconsumable electrode should be replaced when a total contact frequency obtained by weighting frequency in units of contact methods and summing them, exceeds the threshold value, by using a renewal result; and an output part 26 for outputting the effect of replacing the nonconsumable electrode in response to the determination result. By using the total contact frequency, a consumption degree of the nonconsumable electrode can be further accurately comprehended, and the proper replacement time of the nonconsumable electrode can be informed.</p> |
