PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize immediate termination of an output signal from an HF surgical generator.SOLUTION: The invention relates to an HF surgical generator comprising: a power supply comprising at least one accumulation capacitor; and a controllable switching device having at least one energy accumulation such as a transformer, and generating an HF output signal, which may be transmitted to an HF surgical instrument. In the generator, a feedback device is arranged between the energy accumulation and the accumulation capacitor, and a controller is used in addition. The controller must output an electric current to the feedback device for at least a partial period when the HF output signal is terminated and controls the switching device and the feedback device to at least partially release energy accumulated in the accumulation capacitor. |
