PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make further improvement in visible light communication.SOLUTION: A visible light communication signal display method displays an image indicated by a video signal and an image obtained by encoding a visible light communication signal, and includes: an encoding step (S101) of generating a coded image by encoding at least part of the visible light communication signal; a division step (S102) of generating a plurality of division images that correspond respective multiple partial images obtained by dividing the coded image, and include corresponding partial images, and in which images other than the partial images are at or less than a prescribed luminance value and nearly even luminance values; and a display step (S103) of displaying the image indicated by the video signal in a video display period, and the plurality of division images in a time series in a communication period different from the video display period. |
