<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve body removal device and a valve body removal method capable of reducing time expended for a scraping work or a backfilling work and increasing a working efficiency.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a valve body removal device 1 for removing a pipe passage main body 11 under non-stopped flow state from a gate valve device 3 comprising: the pipe passage main body 11 constituting pipe passage constituting members together with fluid pipes 2, 2'; and a valve main body 12 connected to the pipe passage main body 11 and capable of closing the pipe passage main body 11. The valve body removal device 1 comprises: a case 5 for a working operation seal-enclosing from the valve main body 12 over a connected portion between the pipe passage main body 11 and the valve main body 12; and a valve suspending metal fitting 48 for moving the valve main body 12 in an axial direction of a valve box constituting at least the valve device within the case 5 for a working operation, the case 5 for a working operation is supported by the supporters 4, 4 arranged to hold from both sides the valve main body 12 under utilization of the upper side of the outer peripheral surfaces of the pipe passage constituting members.</p> |
