<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device for secure operation of an infrared remote control device, enabling simple and secure operation of a product, such as a television, a recorder and an air conditioner at home and a business place, by anyone using an infrared remote controller for operating the product, by solving the conventional problem of incapable of operating the product if a distance is too remote or an angle is a little different, requiring the operation of the remote controller again.SOLUTION: The light-emitting device is used by attachment to an ordinary infrared remote controller. The light-emitting device receives an operation signal emitted from the remote controller to store into a built-in microcomputer, and thereafter instantaneously emits from a light-emitting part an infrared operation signal having an increased amount of light emitted with a widened transmission angle (directivity). The operation signal is continuously emitted for a plurality of times if the operation signal is emitted only once from the remote controller. Simple attachment to the remote controller and use can be made. As a power source, a dry battery, a storage battery, etc. are used.</p> |
