<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimal application encryption method, a license issuance method, and an application installation method according to a provision configuration of an extension function application.SOLUTION: In a server device for managing a first application that should be installed in an image formation device or a second application for extending the first application, license information including a common key used for encryption of the first application is managed. Then, determination is made whether identification information for identifying the first application is attached to an application identified as the second application. When it is determined that the identification information on the first application is attached, the common key included in the license information on the first application managed by the management means is acquired and the second application encrypted by encryption means is registered in storage means.</p> |
